Swann Foundation provides a cost-free, safe, and secure service enabling you to responsibly discard any unwanted technology while writing it off as a tax deduction. Selling your equipment may actually cost you money and potentially put you at risk if your technology is not securely handled.

On-Site Services

• Removal of equipment from racks including removal of the entire rack if needed.
• Immediate removal of the equipment from your center.
• Secure transport of equipment to our facility for processing.
• Hard Drive Data Destruction services via software and/or physical destruction to DoD, 5220.22-M, and NIST 800-88 standards.

Reporting

After we process your equipment and wipe all data, we will provide you with the following:

• Tax-deductible receipt
• Itemization of all repurposable hardware
• Certificate of Data Destruction
• Itemized and detailed hard drive list including serial # (upon request)

Any technology we are unable to reuse will be responsibly recycled by an R2 certified recycler.
